April's Featured Artist

The featured artist for the month of April is Jim Hammond.

Jim Hammond has been a dedicated photographer for more than 30 years. For most of that time, he was a professor at Penn State College of Medicine. Since retiring in 2008, he has divided his time between a home in Baltimore and a cottage on Delaware Bay. His work reflects a commitment to the environment. He has had one or 2 person shows at Randolph Macon College, Penn State University, the Everhart Museum in Scranton Pa, Lebanon Valley College, the Art Association of Harrisburg and the Art Association of Reading PA. He was a founding member of Gallery 21, an artists╩╝cooperative gallery in Reading Pa. He was also represented by the William Ris Gallery in Harrisburg.
In Baltimore, he is a member of the Art Exposure group and the Hamilton Gallery. In addition to the Hamilton Gallery, his work has been shown at the venues of Art Exposure Inc., at the offices of Federal Hill Main Street, the Chameleon Cafe, the Koba Cafe, The Inn at the Black Olive, Gallery 33, the Lotta Art Festival, and the Festival of Federal Hill Main Street.
